We love Mentoring and its hands on approach to educating and building communities one person at a time. Mentors that have gone through our program agree. Here are some of the comments from the last couple of Mentor programs we have facilitated. Many of the comments are from a group of HR professionals with 10 to 20 years of experience.

Most useful topic was the discussion on confidence and how it helps build Mentee’s confidence. The most useful aspect however was learning about Maria and her experiences in the field. Time flew by and I think we could have taken longer to discuss some of the topics.

Thanks for giving us this interesting mentor training course. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also went to your website and what you guys are doing is amazing! Hope that we can find a convenient time to chat some time in the future. If there is something I can do to help you in some ways, such as doing a presentation on PEO licence application process, Professional Engineer society issues...etc. I'd be glad to do so. As the next workshop will be our last session of this mentor training course, I hope to have a chance to thank you and Maria. Your suggestion on cover letter is great. • It is comprehensive, balanced, talks about a full breadth of topics including; Culture Shock, immersion, job skills and professional development.
• The expertise of the instructor! Also useful to learn with other mentors and to have exposure to a variety of experiences.

• Matching individuals in similar fields, training workshops for mentors, and level of support for mentors and mentees.
