Mentorship

Integration Resources Canada has been developing and delivering mentoring programs specifically designed for internationally educated professionals since 2006.  Each case is unique however the principles of fit and retention remain the driving force.

Our goals are to ensure:

  • Employers’ labour needs are met though market fit
  • Reliability in succession planning through appropriate selection
  • Mentees find jobs commensurate with their skills, education and competencies
  • Mentoring builds community leadership
  • Communities build welcome and inclusive environments
  • Programs initiate future labour pipelines.
  • Individuals develop the skills for life long career goals achievement

Each program is unique depending on participants or special interest group’s needs.  Here are a few examples:

  • Municipalities that have broad integration challenges
  • Service providers that serve a diverse constituency
  • Service Providers that are culturally specific
